Prime Timers is open to Farm Bureau members who are 55 years of age or older!
The Prime Time travelers group is getting larger, thanks to all those who are participating and encouraging others to join. Fun and fellowship are the prime objectives of the group, so don’t be left out. If you are a current Farm Bureau member you are eligible to attend all functions.

The Montgomery County Farm Bureau Prime Timers elected new officers for the coming year. Martha Rose Rhine was elected Chairperson, Harold Jurgena Vice Chairperson and Joyce Campbell was elected Secretary.
Prime Timers History and Purpose:
-Farm Bureau heard from the counties
-Large percentage of population is +55
-Large percentage of our membership is +55
-Need for continuing leadership opportunities
-Social needs of this age group
-Counties worried about this group – utilize
-Member needs met
-St. Clair County was the pioneer in 1978-“Golden Agers”
-Mclean County first used the “Prime Timers” title in 1980
-Peoria (1982), DeKalb (1985), and Macoupin (1986) counties followed
The overall purpose of the Illinois Farm Bureau Prime Timers is “to offer educational and Social programs to meet the needs and interests of men and women who are Farm Bureau Members aged 55 and older.”

The Prime Timers meet the third Wednesday of the month at the Farm Bureau building. Prime Timers is open to any Montgomery County Farm Bureau member age 55 and over.
